Kotek carries out painting and shot blasting of steel structures for industrial applications both in its own industrial painting shop and at customer sites around Finland. The service includes surface preparation, shot blasting, grinding and painting. Painting of steel structures prolongs the service life of structures, improves corrosion protection and reduces maintenance costs.
We have a modern industrial paint shop suitable for painting demanding and large steel structures. Our spray booth measures 12 × 9 m and the free height of the doors exceeds 6 m. The total surface area of the booth and the treatment rooms is 1 500 m².
Gravity blasting is an essential part of painting durable steel structures. Properly applied, we remove rust, contaminants and old coatings and create an optimal surface for paint to adhere to.
We use recyclable steel grit for grit blasting and one- and two-component high pressure spray guns for painting.
In our paint shop, we can carry out surface treatments on steel structures of virtually any size and shape.
We also paint steel structures at customer sites using our mobile equipment. We can sandblast, grind and paint industrial steel structures directly on site without the need to dismantle or move the structures.
This enables cost-effective and flexible implementation throughout Finland, also in areas where relocation of structures is not possible.
